Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is an Spanish Flamenco/Pop performer. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has delved into the dark side of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the sound of the new artist as sassy and sweet and grit. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she won the Grammy. In 2021, the track La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Her third long-player Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with numerous producers and artists like Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in on March 20, 2022 following the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia performed solo for the first time on the program. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first female to receive both awards.
