MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress into Latin pop. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked it at number 8. The following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He collaborated together with Noriel on Mala Influencia in 2020 and next year, dropped his sophomore album charting Dopamina. Then, in 2021 He sang a duet 2021 with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. In 2023, he appeared on 2000, which included the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a household of music his mother and older brother are musicians. In interviews he has described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. When he was young, he instructed to perform on the guitar, piano and the ukulele. Although he initially wanted to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singer would alter his direction in life.
