She earned her degree at Princeton University, where she was a member of the Triangle Club, choreographed, and was a part of numerous productions. She made her Broadway debut as Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods in 2002. In 2004, she played in Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway as Bielke. Ephraim was the main character in 2003's TV movie Hench at Home. She starred in the 2008 movie College Road Trip as Wendy. She also starred as Ali Rey in the movie Paranormal Activity 2 in 2010 and then reprised her role in the 2014 film Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. She also starred as Cricket in 2014's film Gravy. Ephraim has been the TV show Last Man Standing's Mandy Baxter since 2011. She also appeared in episodes of the TV series Law & Order and Royal Pains.
